[Thinkware Dashcam Link] How to view Recorded Video Files

The Thinkware Dashcam Link app gives you access to the recorded videos of the dash cam by simply connecting to it via Wi-Fi.

How do I view the Dash Cams Recorded Video File

1. Connect to the Dash Cam via WiFi

2. Select the File List icon located in the bottom middle ()

3. By default, it will show all recorded video files. Recorded videos are stored in different folders according to their recording mode. You can choose a folder to view by clicking the All button at the bottom top part. This will show you all the folders available (refer to the table below for more information).

 

Continuous Constant recordings while driving
Continuous Incident Impact with the vehicle recorded during driving or continuous mode
Manual Recording Manual recordings captured by pressing the dash cam’s REC button once
Motion Detection Motion detected by the dash cam during parking mode
Parking Incident Impact with the vehicle recorded during parking mode
SOS Recording* SOS/Emergency recorded videos captured by pressing the REC button for more than 3 seconds

*Available only for U3000 and Q1000

4. You can also choose between the Front camera or Rear camera recording. Recorded video files can also be arranged to be viewed either by day or by file type.
