I notice that the U1000 camera records a minute of footage at a time and I ran into a situation were another car cut me off exactly where the minute of footage ended and the next minute of footage started, during this transition I lost about 3 or 4 seconds of crucial video evidence where if I had gotten into an accident that piece of evidence would be missing. Is there anyway of making video recording really continuously instead of a minute at a time or record for more than a minute? Also it would be nice to have in app a video clipper where you can select a starting point and a ending point of a video to save for personal videos.
the same issue with my u1000, there is a pretty lot of missing length chopped eventually too short recording length. At least a minute. there should add to adjust the length of time recording. I feel shit to keep Blackvue is the only best one I had.

4 years later - I have noticed this also - had problems understanding how the U1000 really works and especially to use via wireless and my phone, but that's another matter and am making progress there. But when I review ‘Continuous Recordings', they aren’t - there are several seconds gaps between the clips. And In coms cases complete sections of a journey missing.
Searched for similar cases wand this one came up top in the search but no more information as to why it happens and how to avoid. It would be typical if an incident occurred right in the middle of a break in recording. I hope there's an easy answer to fix this - or compensate for it in the settings.
