Camera shuts down in parking mode when battery protection is enabled
I am from India and have purchased a Q800 Pro from Amazon.com recently. I have a Volkswagen Polo Sedan (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Vento_(A05))
I have hardwired my Q800 Pro dash cam and have parking mode turned on using the hard wiring kit.
I am observing erratic behavior when Battery protection is turned on (I have even tried the lowest value of 11.6 V and still the behavior persists.). The camera stops functioning in parking mode after 10-15 mins, but functions well if battery protection is disabled. I have done investigations to zero down the problem. Details below:
-- Checking for Battery drain:
I initially thought that I may have a battery drain problem. But my car is just 9 months old with 8K KM's. To ensure that battery doesn't have a drain issue, I have verified battery voltage using a multi-meter when I lock my car (I keep the door open and simulate car locking by manually turning the door lock to lock position followed by locking using the key remote). I get a good reading of ~12.6 V. I have left my door open over night and have checked the battery after 14-16 hours and found it at ~12.25V. Thus confirming that battery voltage is not dropping below the recommended level.
-- I have upgraded to the latest firmware V1.01.01.
-- I have tested that I have sufficient space on the memory card (32G) and have zero videos in all partitions
-- I have formatted the memory card
-- I have given parking priority which allocates 15% space for motion sensor parking
Is anyone facing this kind of issue?

Hello There,
Please review the First and last videos the Dash Cam recorded in Parking Mode and note the Voltage Level in the bottom-left. This will let us know if the device is powering down early, or due to the cut-off. If you have found that the Dash Cam continually powers after 10-15 mins no matter the Voltage Cut Off, we'd recommend contacting the Thinkware Support branch in your region to have this replaced.
I have a exactly same condition with you. I even changed a same dash cam for test, but still not working. mine is a FA200. people said that is because some care have a protection of battery, so it will not let cash cam work for long time. Have you solve the problems? how did you figure It out?
I turned battery protection off.. It keeps working
If I'm parking the car for 4 or more days without driving, I make sure to remove the power from the dashcam.
