Memory card formatting fails
I just got a new 128GB ScanDisk Extreme Plus V30 A2 Class 3 micro SD card. The camera prompted me to format it, so I held the Record button for 3+ seconds as per the instructions. The voice said formatting will now begin. A second or so the later the voice said formatting is complete. The camera turned itself off. When I turn it back on, the voice says memory card format required. I've done it about 5 times with the same results. Also, while that card is inserted, I cannot turn the wifi on to access the mobile app. The only thing I can think of is that the SD card is not compatible. Any ideas?

Hello Rene,
We are sorry to hear about this issue you are experiencing with your Sandisk SD Card. Please try formatting the Sd Card on your home computer. If the Dash Cam continues to state "Format SD Card for data integrity" this Sd Card would not be fully compatible.
Yes, I formatted it with the computer too, but it still said format required. I think it's because it's a class 3 card, not a class 10.
Anyway, your instructions for formatting a card on a Mac do not say what type of file format to choose (ExFAT, MS-DOS (FAT), Mac OS Extended, etc.)
Hello Renee, For a 128GB SD Card please Format with ExFat and Allocation size of 128kb.
