I have an F770 and want to upgrade to the Q800 Pro. Are the hardwire and rear cameras the same? Thanks in advance for any information you may provide.

Hello Ed, If you are looking to upgrade to the Q800PRO System from the F770 Dash Cam the cable connections for Hardwiring are the same. The Rear Camera Cable's only difference is the orientation of the right-angled connector. The F770 Rear Camera Cable will work with the Q800PRO, however, the cable management may not be as clean. The F770 Dash Cam uses the TWA-F770R Rear Camera. The Q800PRO uses the upgraded TWA-F800R Rear Camera. Unfortunately, the Rear Camera itself will need to be changed.
Can the F800 and the U1000 use the same rear cam cable?

No, they dont use the same rear camera cable but if you are planning to use the upgrade from F800 to U1000 the rear camera can work as it is compatible. The Rear Camera Cable's only difference is the orientation of the right-angled connector and the cable management may not be as clean. Also, the rear view camera is not compatible from F800 to U1000.
