"continuous recording will now start" keeps repeating on continuous mode.

I have a FA200 for about 7 months now. For the past 2 months, every 5 mins or so while I'm driving it would say "continuous recording will now start." I did research online and on the Thinkware website and tried everything but it still happens. I tried unplugging the rear camera and plug it back in to restart the camera. I tried formatting the Thinkware micro SD card. I updated to the latest firmware for my camera and it updated successfully. I pressed and held the 2 button on the camera to reset it but it after all these troubleshooting it still repeats "continuous recording will now start" every 5 mins or so. It didn't happen for the first 5 months I had it and I drive everyday. Please help me solve this problem.

    Hello Al,

     

    The Dash Cam entering Parking Mode then Continuous mode would point to an issue with the wiring itself, as the Dash Cam does not have any proprietary software to switch to parking mode manually.

    I am having the same issue with my F800PRO.  The unit will enter parking mode, than a minute or so later, enter continuous recording mode.  Seems to be a common issue with these units.

    We hope all has been corrected with the replacement F800PRO Dash Cam.
