If the device is saying "shutting down due to thermal protection" then the device is overheating and shutting itself off to cool its internal temperature as it should.
If it is simply just powering down all the time and not powering back on, or randomly powering off then rebooting, please contact our customer support at support@thinkware.com for a fix.

please do update firmware can lasting high temperature,in my country only hot climate,your thinkware dashcam cant lasting in my country,afternoon it will shut down automaticly,feel so unsecure for this dashcam.
