Q800 Pro WiFi
Does anyone know if there is a way to STOP the Thinkware Q800 Pro from enabling wifi on startup? Every time my camera turns on it says something like "On your smartphone look for a wifi network named Thinkware" or something similar. My phone automatically connects to the wifi network on the camera and this causes my phone to lose its internet connection since it's now connected to a wifi network with no internet. So my phone ends up not having any access to the mobile network to use things like Google Maps and Waze. I need a way to permanently disable the wifi from turning on every time the camera turns on. Plus the added talking on startup is really annoying. My F770 used to just say "Continuous recording will now start. GPS Connected". This one says that then says the whole "Connect your smartphone to the wifi network named Thinkware". Any help would GREATLY be appreciated as this is driving me crazy. If I can't find a solution I'll have to return the unit.

Hello Matt,
Please connect with the Dash Cam via Hotspot using your smartphone one time. After this one time connection, the Dash Cam will stop to automatically enabling the Wi-Fi.
You do not need to connect via Hotspot again after this one time.
