DC-M1-FG Dash Cam Connected to a iVolt Mini External Battery (Hardwire)
My local audio installer mentioned he "went directly to the battery" for the power connection for the iVolt battery. Now I'm wondering if this means it is -unfused- and concerned if this is an improper install and if it is going to be a problem or void the warranty or worse, the potential for electrical damage?

Hello Randy, this shouldn't be an issue! The external battery is normally wired directly to the vehicle's battery and will get charged while the vehicle is on. When the vehicle is off, the Dash Cam will be only getting power from the external battery.
