Drops wifi address

Just had the DC-M1-FC hardwired into my 2021 F150.  Tried to pair my iPhone with the camera.  The phone sees the Thinkware address, and will connect for about 4 seconds, then drop the signal.

I can see Thinkware wifi address on my SYNC 4 screen, but no connection (didn't expect it to).

Does the camera generate its own wifi signal?

Customer service has suggested a couple of fixes, but no joy.  Sent them some screen shots showing each step.  Waiting for a reply now.

Video clips play fine on my laptop read directly from SD card.

Any ideas appreciated.
