There is an idling engine stop feature in new 2022 Honda Civic. This means at a traffic light the engine will be stopped until it auto rrsumes when the foot is off the brake. A traffic light can last for several minutes. This can trgger false parking mode recordings?
Also saw a reply to lower impact sensitivity. That means someone vandalizing your car with scratches will not be detected??? That seems like an illogical suggestion?!
This will depend on the battery's voltage level. If the battery level drops below 12V while sitting at the light, there's a chance the Dash Cam will enter Parking Mode. The impact sensitivity can be lowered to avoid fake impacts, for example when you open or close the door and the Dash Cam detects that as an impact.
