Can't Set Date/Time on X1000

Brand new out of the box.  Installed and adjusting the settings.  However, when I set the date and time, it doesn't take it.  I go back to home after confirming it, and the time goes back to 11PM.  It appears the minutes just keep revolving as normal, but when it changes from 59 to 00, the hour stays at 11PM.  I've set the date/time multiple times and nothing.  What is going on?
