The Wi-Fi Frequency setting on the Dash Cams, allows you to choose a specific broadcast frequency that a Hotspot device can use to send or receive data.

Do I need to set the Wi-Fi Frequency on my Dash Cam?

Yes. The Dash Cam will be unable to connect via Hotspot unless the Wi-Fi Frequency of the Hotspot Device and Dash Cam Setting match.

The Wi-Fi Band Setting can be found under System Settings.

How to set the Wi-Fi Frequency on my Dash Cam?

1. Connect to the Dash Cam via Bluetooth

2. Select Dash Cam Settings > System Settings

3. Tap to switch Wi-Fi frequency setting to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz

4. Tap the back arrow in the top-left to save your changes.
