This service enables immediate access to key events that occur while driving or parked, offering features such as impact notifications, driving history, and remote live video monitoring. By enhancing both driver convenience and vehicle security, THINKWARE CONNECTED Service allows users to easily monitor their vehicle's status—whether they are on the road or away from the car.

1. Is Thinkware Connected Free?
- Thinkware Connected is free to download and use with a compatible Thinkware Dash Cam. Connecting the dash cam to a mobile hotspot device or a Wi-Fi network with Internet access will consume data. Carrier/Service Provider charges may apply.
2. Do I need both Thinkware Dash cam Link and Thinkware Connected Apps?
- Yes, you need both apps, Thinkware Dash Cam Link App to connect to the internet, and Thinkware Connected to access CONNECTED features.
3. Can I access Thinkware Connected on a Web Browser?
- Yes, you can access Thinkware Connected on both the smartphone app as well as your mobile and desktop browser. The dashboard on the desktop version gives you more information like all registered dash cams, driving routes, status of the vehicles, etc.
- To access the web dashboard, go to thinkwareconnected.com and log in with your Thinkware account.
4. Can multiple phones be signed into the same Thinkware Connected Account and Receive the same notifications?
- No, you can sign in to an account on only one platform at a time. For example, you will get logged out from the app on your current smartphone if you sign in on the app on another smartphone.
5. Can I receive notifications from multiple dash cams?
- Yes, each dash cam must be registered to your Thinkware Connected account. Depending on your plan, you can register from 2 to an unlimited number of dash cams on one Thinkware Connected account.
6. Can I add multiple internet connections to the same app?
- Yes. You can add multiple connections like a dedicated hotspot device, or your home, and office Wi-Fi, on the app, and when it is in range, the dash cam will automatically connect with the available network.
7. Can I purchase the plan?
- Yes. You can purchase Thinkware Connected plans (BASIC or PREMIUM) through in-app payment.
These are one-time payments, not subscriptions.
Currently, this feature is supported for U3000 PRO dash cams.
8. What’s the difference between the BASIC and PREMIUM plans?
- The BASIC plan offers essential Connected features with a fixed free service period provided with your dash cam. The PREMIUM plan provides the full set of Connected features and the highest available performance for your dash cam.
Once purchased, the PREMIUM plan is applied immediately, and the Connected features are upgraded automatically in the app.
Both plans are available for U3000 PRO dash cams.
9. What happens to my BASIC service period when I purchase a PREMIUM plan?
- When you purchase a PREMIUM plan, the remaining BASIC period continues to run during your PREMIUM usage.
It is not paused or extended separately.
After the PREMIUM period ends, the service will automatically return to BASIC if any remaining period is available.
10. Can I extend my Connected service period after the free BASIC plan ends?
- Yes. The BASIC plan provides a 3-year free service period starting from the date your dash cam is first registered in the Connected App using the Thinkware-provided SIM card.
To continue using Connected features after this period, you must purchase either a BASIC or PREMIUM plan before the service period ends to extend your access.
You can check your current service period on the U3000 PRO device information screen under the Dash Cam menu at the bottom of the Connected App.
This option is available for U3000 PRO and ARC 900 dash cam models
11. Is the PREMIUM plan a subscription?
- No. Both the BASIC and PREMIUM plans are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically.
You can choose either a 1-month or a 1-year plan based on your preference
12. Will my Connected features activate automatically after purchasing a plan?
- Yes. If you purchase a PREMIUM plan, the upgraded features are activated immediately
If you purchase a BASIC plan, it will automatically apply after your current free BASIC service period ends.
These functions are available for U3000 PRO and ARC 900 dash cam models.
13. Can I transfer my plan to another dash cam or account?
- No. Connected plans are tied to the specific dash cam registered in your account and cannot be transferred to another device or user.
14. Are the plan prices the same in all countries?
- No. Prices shown at checkout may vary by country depending on local taxes and exchange rates.
All prices displayed in the app include applicable taxes.
15. What happens when my plan expires?
- When your BASIC or PREMIUM plan expires, Connected features that require an active plan will become unavailable.
To continue using Connected features without interruption, you must purchase an additional BASIC or PREMIUM plan before your 3-year BASIC service period expires.
You can purchase and extend your service directly in the app at any time.
