How to Hide the Dash Cam Cables
There is no set guide on how to hide the dash cam cables since each vehicle is different. We have here several techniques listed as your guide.
1. The dash cam wires can be hidden on the center console (if using the 12V power cable).
2. The dash cam wires can also be hidden behind the dashboard and can run behind the vehicle’s A-pillar. Most vehicles have an airbag behind the A-pillar so be careful when removing it to avoid damaging the airbag.
Once the A-pillar is removed, you should see the vehicle’s cable management. You can route the dash cam with the cable management. You can use tape or cable ties to ensure that the dash cam cable is set in place.
3. Another tip to hide the dash cam cables is by tucking it in underneath the weather strip of the vehicle.
4. The rear dash cam cable can be hidden behind the plastic trims. Hiding the rear dash cam cable will avoid vision obstruction and minimize rear dash cam issues.
