How to remove the Adhesive Mount

Due to the strong 3M Adhesive used with our windshield mounts, it can be quite difficult to remove them from the windshield.

Items Recommended:

1. Hair Dryer or Heat Gun

2. Prying Tool

3. Goo-Gone

How to remove the Adhesive Windshield Mount

1. Use the hair dryer or heat gun to heat the mount. Once warm, this is a lot easier to remove.

2. Use the prying tool to lift at a corner of the mount and work through the entire mount.

3. If there is any residual adhesive, use a cleaner such as Goo-Gone to remove this.

*You can re-use the windshield mount. You just need to apply some heat to remove the existing adhesive and residue. In the box came a package with an extra piece of 3M adhesive that you can use for your new installation.
