How to remove the Adhesive Mount

Due to the strong 3M Adhesive used with our windshield mounts, it can be quite difficult to remove this from the windshield.

Items Recommended:

1. Hair Dryer or Heat Gun

2. Prying Tool

3. Goo-Gone

How to remove the Adhesive Windshield Mount

1. Use the hair dryer or heat gun to heat up the mount. Once warm, this is a lot easier to remove.

2. Use the prying tool to lift at a corner of the mount and work through the entire mount.

3. If there is any residual adhesive use a cleaner such as Goo-Gone to remove this.

*You can re-use the windshield mount. You just need to apply some heat to remove the existing adhesive and residue. In the box came packaged with an extra piece of 3M adhesive that you can use for your new installation.
