What is Thinkware's Super Night Vision?
Low-light environments such as dark alleys or parking lots make it very difficult for most dash cams to record clear useable footage. Thinkware Dash Cams equipped with Super Night Vision use Advanced Image Signal Processing (ISP) technology to record a clear, visible video in low-light situations.
Under low light conditions, important details could easily be missed. It's exactly why we introduced Super Night Vision.
The increased sensitivity means brighter and clearer footage to provide you with all the details possible that are especially critical for hit-and-runs and vandalism that happen throughout the night.
Super Night Vision vs Super Night Vision 2.0
Previously, the first version of Super Night Vision was only available in Parking Surveillance Mode on the F770 and X550.
Now with our current models available, you can also enable the Super Night Vision 2.0 feature in Continuous Recording Mode.
Super Night Vision 3.0
Record night drives with true colors and minimal noise thanks to Thinkware’s latest advancements in low-light recording technology that surpasses its predecessors’ night-time performance.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) multi-exposure captures maximum image detail in high-contrast scenes and correct exposure levels when a subject is too dark or too bright.
Super Night Vision 4.0
Super Night Vision 4.0 takes advantage of Sony STARVIS 2’s advances in high sensitivity and low noise technology to help the U3000 capture clearer footage in low-light conditions.
