How to update your dash cam’s firmware

Use the THINKWARE DASH CAM LINK app, a Windows PC, or a Mac to update your dash cam firmware. Choose the method supported by your model.

A firmware update replaces your dash cam’s current firmware with updated operating instructions. It can improve functions and capabilities without replacing the hardware.

Caution: Keep the dash cam powered on throughout the update.

Check your settings after updating

After updating, check your video resolution and any settings you previously changed.
