How to Install CPL Filter - U3000 PRO

Purpose of the CPL Filter

The Circular Polarizing (CPL) Filter helps to:

1. Minimize dashboard reflections in videos.
2. Enhance color contrast for clearer footage.

1. Before attaching the CPL filter, use the included microfiber cloth to clean the dash cam lens thoroughly.

   

2. Peel off the transparent protective film first. This makes it easier to hold and align the CPL filter

   

3. Peel off the blue protective film from the adhesive pad.

   

4. Attach the filter to the camera lens, ensuring the guide point remains vertical. Position the guide point at either the top or bottom of the lens.

   

* Keep the guide point strictly vertical for best results.

✘ Incorrect: Guide point tilted

4. Apply firm pressure so the filter sticks securely.

   

5. Wipe the surface of the CPL filter with the microfiber cloth to remove any dust or fingerprints before mounting the dash cam
