Thinkware Dash Cam Entering Parking Mode while Driving
If your Thinkware Dash Cam is entering Parking Mode while you are driving this is caused by a wiring issue.
Thinkware Dash Cams contains no proprietary software that allows the Dash Cam to switch to Parking Mode manually. This can only be achieved by the gain and loss of power.
Please follow the troubleshooting steps outlined below for your Power Cable.
If the dash cam is still entering Parking Mode while you are driving, please reach out to our team at support@thinkware.com or 1-844-865-9273.

iVolt Battery Pack
If the Dash Cam is entering Parking Mode while driving, there is a disconnect between the wiring, or the battery pack itself is losing power while on the road.
1. Check for kinks or abrasions on the Input and Output Wiring.
2. Check that the wiring between the Red ACC Cable from the Constant Power Cable and the Output Cable is securely fastened.
*If the connection is loose, this can cause the dash cam to enter parking mode while driving.
3. Check that the Battery Pack is not losing and gaining power while driving.
*If the fuse used loses power at random, this will cause the dash cam to enter parking mode while driving.
