Are you getting the message "The disk is write protected" when trying to format your MicroSD on a computer?
Write-Protection is a feature on most MicroSD adapters to prevent data from being added, transferred, or deleted from the MicroSD card.
To get around this, simply locate the small switch usually located on the side of the adapter, it might also be labeled as “Lock” or “Write Protection.
Switch it to the opposite position, reinsert and the "Write Protected" should be removed.
Another way to get around this or avoid it altogether, is to use the Thinkware USB adapter which does not have a locking-mechanism on it.
