"Memory Card Error"

If you hear the message "Memory Card Error" your Dash Cam has encountered an error with the MicroSD Card and is unable to start recording.

Please follow the troubleshooting outlined below to fix the issue.

Troubleshooting

1. Test with a Thinkware MicroSD Card.

*3rd Party MicroSD cards have been known to cause the Memory Card Error.

2. Can the MicroSD card be recognized when inserted into a PC or Mac Computer?

*If the SD Card is unrecognizable, this has become corrupt and will need to be replaced.

3. Format the MicroSD Card.

MicroSD Card cannot be Formatted

If the MicroSD Card cannot be formatted in your Windows or Mac computer, this MicroSD Card has become corrupt and can no longer be used.

You will need to replace the MicroSD Card before the camera will be able to operate normally again.

Formatted MicroSD Card; The Error Persists

If the error persists and this is a Non-Thinkware MicroSD Card, unfortunately, this MicroSD Card is incompatible with the Dash Cam.
