Resetting the GPS

If you are experiencing issues with the Thinkware GPS not connecting when powering on your Dash Cam, it's best to reset the GPS to correct the issue.

How to Reset the GPS

Please follow the instructions outlined below to Reset the GPS on your Thinkware Dash Cam.

1. Connect to the Dash Cam via Wi-Fi.

2. Select "Dash Cam Info".

3. Select the GPS Arrow.

4. Select the Reset Icon in the top-right.

The GPS Status will revert to "Connecting". Wait for up to 5 minutes for the GPS to reconnect.

1. Connect to the Dash Cam via Wi-Fi.

2. Select GPS Info.

3. Select Reset GPS.

The GPS Status will revert to "Connecting". Wait for up to 5 minutes for the GPS to reconnect.

1. Navigate to the Main Menu, and select Dash Cam Info.

2. Select the GPS, then select Reset.

The GPS Status will revert to "Connecting". Wait for up to 5 minutes for the GPS to reconnect.

    My Dashcam Viewer screen does not look anything like this, and has no GPS functions. I am thus unable to reset GPS and the camera does not capture speed or any other parameters.
