Impact Notification While Parked

If a severe impact* (such as a crash) is detected while driving or parked, a notification is immediately shown on the Thinkware Connected mobile app and sends an emergency message to your registered contacts.

A 20-second clip of the footage (10 seconds prior and 10 seconds after) will be uploaded to the Thinkware Connected server.

This feature is to aid the driver in notifying others in an emergency.

*This will only occur if the impact of the incident sustains a g-force level greater than 3g or 4g while driving.

Please note: Thinkware Connected requires your mobile hotspot devices' internet connection to be paired with the Dash Cam while driving and parked to send and receive notifications.

How to view the Impact Notification 

1. A notification from the Thinkware Connected app will pop up on your phone. Click on the Impact Notification to get routed to the app

2. Wait for a few seconds for the video to get uploaded. You can also check on the live map the exact location of the vehicle during the incident

3. Choose between the front or rear camera to view the recording

4. You can download the video directly to your device as well as share it  by pressing the download or share button

6. You can also view the full list of notifications by pressing the 'Bell' icon on the top left part of the homepage
