What is Privacy Recording

Privacy Recording is a new feature that erases the SD card for your privacy, constantly looping over existing footage and storing only a limited-time backlog.

Types of Privacy Recording Setting

1 Min.  Continuous Mode Only

The dashcam will only record two 1-minute recordings during the continuous driving mode.

Each new recording after the 2nd video is recorded will replace the 1st video recorded.   

3 Min.  Continuous Mode Only

The dashcam will only record three 1-minute recordings during the continuous driving mode.

Each new recording after the 3rd video is recorded will replace the 1st video recorded. 

G-Shock Only/Event Continuous and Parking Mode The dashcam will only record impact at all times (Both on Continuous and Parking Mode)
Disabled

How to Enable Privacy Recording

1. Connect to the Dash Cam via Bluetooth with the Thinkware Dashcam Link App.

2. Select Dash Cam Settings > Record Settings

3. Under the Privacy Recording option, select what type/mode you prefer (G-Shock, 1 Min., 3 Min., Disabled).

4. To complete your modifications, tap the back arrow located in the top-left corner.

Note: The settings vary depending on the dash cam model
