Use External Battery

The Use External Battery settings helps your dash cam identify if it is connected to an external battery (iVolt). This will allow the dash cam to calibrate its power consumption and deactivate the Battery Protection features.

• Q1000

How to Disable/Enable the Use External Battery Setting

1. Connect to the Dash Cam via Bluetooth

2. Select Dash Cam Settings > Record Settings

3. Tap to enable or disable the Use External Battery

4. Tap the back arrow in the top-left to save your changes.
