How to Install the LTE Module and Register Your Dash Cam with the CONNECTED App - U3000 PRO

LTE Module Installation

  1. Open the SIM card slot cover on the LTE module and carefully insert the SIM card in the correct orientation until fully secured, then close the cover

  2. Connect the USB (Micro 5-Pin) end to the LTE module and the USB-C end to the dash cam.

  3. Choose an installation location for the LTE module: near the dash cam at the upper front windshield or inside the glove box.

* If the vehicle is frequently parked outdoors, install the product in the glove box.

* Install the product in a location away from direct sunlight.

  1. Use the 50 cm short cable if installing near the front windshield, or the 3 m long cable if installing inside the glove box. (Both cables are included in the box.)

  2. Remove the protective film from the adhesive pad, press the LTE module firmly onto the designated installation spot on the windshield, and neatly organize the cable so it is not visible.

USB-C Port Settings

6. Start the vehicle, connect the dash cam to the THINKWARE DASH CAM LINK app, then go to Settings → System Settings → USB-C → LTE Modem.

7. The dash cam will reboot to apply the new settings.

* Some dash cam models require accessory setup. Please check your manual and adjust settings in the THINKWARE DASH CAM LINK app if needed
