How to Register ARC 800 with the CONNECTED App and Install the LTE Module

Connecting the LTE Module to the Dash Cam

1. Connect the USB (Micro 5-Pin) end to the LTE Module

   

   

2. Install the LTE Module near the dash cam using the 50cm short cable and neatly organize the cable

   

   

   

   

    

   *Or install the LTE module inside the passenger glove box using the 3m long cable

   

   

3. Start the vehicle and change the USB-C port setting

   *To use the LTE module, the USB-C port setting must be set to 'LTE Modem'.

   Settings -> System -> USB-C -> LTE Modem

   

   

4. Connect the USB-C end to the dash cam's USB-C port

   

5. Once connected, the STATUS LED will blink orange and the screen will prompt you to register the dash cam through the THINKWARE CONNECTED app

6. Download and install the THINKWARE CONNECTED app, then create a THINKWARE account and log in

   *iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/thinkware-connected/id1502055879

   *Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thinkware.dashcamconnected&hl=en

    

7. Open the THINKWARE CONNECTE app, tap 'Register dash cam', then select 'LTE Type'

   

8. Tap "Barcode", then scan the barcode located at the bottom of the LTE module label

   

   

   

   

    

   *If the barcode cannot be scanned, enter the ICCID manually

   

9. Tap 'Request Certification'

   

10. When prompted, tap 'Confirm' on the dash cam screen to proceed with registration

    

11. Registration complete

    

You have successfully installed the LTE module and register your THINKWARE ARC800!
