My microSD card appears full

This article explains why your THINKWARE microSD card may appear full because of .TWSYS files.

A newly inserted microSD card may appear full because the dash cam creates .TWSYS files automatically. These Temporary System Files reserve recording space and help protect recordings from corruption if power is lost.

The dash cam overwrites .TWSYS files as it records, so the full card capacity remains available for video. Do not delete, rename, or alter these files; doing so can cause a memory-card error.

None of the above worked

If the issue continues after testing without a card, formatting on a PC or Mac, unlocking write protection, and trying a new compatible THINKWARE card, contact THINKWARE support.

If "Memory Card Error" returns at the next startup after an in-camera format, including on Q800PRO or Q200, contact THINKWARE support for a warranty assessment.

Please refer to About THINKWARE's warranty policy for warranty requests or technical evaluation.
