What is the Front Vehicle Departure Warning?

FVDW alerts the driver when the vehicle ahead starts to move forward from a complete stop.

The system is not designed to compensate for a driver’s lack of caution and If you rely too much on FVDW, it can lead to an accident.

Compatible Dashcams

  • Applicable for the U3000, U1000 Plus, U1000, Q1000, Q850, Q200, Q800PRO, F800PRO, F800, F790 and ARC
  • Applicable when paired with the GPS Accessory; F200PRO, X1000, X700, X800

How to Enable the Front Vehicle Departure Warning

1. Connect to the Dash Cam via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth

2. Select Dash Cam Settings > Road Safety Settings

3. Select Enable/Disable the FVDW Setting

4. Click the back arrow in the top-left to save your changes. 

Note:

  • ADAS feature should be enabled to utilize FVDW
  • The settings vary depending on the dash cam model
