What does the Vehicle Type Setting do?

The Vehicle Type Setting is used for the ADAS Alerts to provide the most accurate alerts based on the type of vehicle the dashcam is installed on.

Compatible Dashcams

• Applicable for the U3000, Q1000, U1000, Q800PRO, F800PRO, F800 and F790
• Applicable when paired with the GPS Accessory; F200PRO, X1000, X700, X800

How to select your Vehicle Type

Ensure that you have enabled your preferred ADAS alerts such as the Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, and Front Vehicle Departure Warning.

1. Connect to the Dash Cam via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth

2. Select Dash Cam Settings > Road Safety Settings

3. Under Vehicle Type select between Sedan, SUV, or Truck (and Bus).

4. Click the back arrow in the top-left to save your changes.

Note:

• ADAS feature should be enabled to utilize FVDW
• The settings vary depending on the dash cam model
