What is the Initialize ADAS Setting?
The ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) is a road safety warning system that helps the driver with sound notifications while driving.
The Initialize ADAS Button begins calibration for the alerts to the view of the Dash Cam.
The Initialize Process is done while the device is in Continuous Mode (Ignition On). For the best calibration, it's recommended to be in motion after beginning to calibrate.
*Please do not drive and use the Thinkware Dashcam Link App
This process takes a few minutes, and you should begin to hear all the enabled alerts shortly afterward where applicable.
Ensure you have enabled your preferred ADAS Alerts such as Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, and Front Vehicle Departure Warning
