[Thinkware Connected LTE - T700] How to Setup the SIM Card & Register

The T700 built-in 4G LTE modem allows users to receive notifications, review footage & track location when they are away from their vehicle in real-time via the Thinkware CONNECTED LTE smartphone app & PC application.

*Process is optional and not required for the simple functionality of your Dash Cam. These steps will allow you to access Connected features.

How to Setup the SIM Card and Register the Dash Cam

1. Prepare the dash cam, SIM card, and your smartphone.

2. Insert the SIM card into the dash cam's SIM card slot. Ensure that the metal contacts on the SIM card are facing toward the product's mount connector.

3. Mount and install the dash cam on your vehicle. Once installed, turn on your vehicle to power the dash cam.

4. Check and see if the dash cam's LTE indicator status lights turn green. This shows if the SIM card is active and provides an LTE connection to the dash cam.

5. On your smartphone, open and log in to the Thinkware CONNECTED LTE app. Click on "Register Dash Cam"

*You need a Thinkware ID to use the Thinkware CONNECTED LTE app. If you don't have an account yet, tap "Sign Up" and create your Thinkware account

6. Enter the full ICCID to register the dash cam. The Certification Number required by the app is the ICCID, this can be found in your confirmation email/online account, or on the SIM card.

7. After typing in the ICCID, click on "Certification Request"

8. You will hear a voice guidance from the dash cam. Press the REC button on the dash cam to proceed.

9. The app will return to the home screen once the registration is completed. You'll now see the services and features of the Thinkware CONNECTED LTE app. 

Your T700 is now connected and registered successfully!
