How to Register ARC 900 with the CONNECTED App and Install the LTE Module

USB-C Port Settings

1. Start the vehicle and make sure the Dash Cam is powered on.

   *To use the LTE module, the USB-C port setting must be set to 'LTE Modem'.

   • Tap Home Menu > Settings > System > USB-C > LTE Modem

     

     

     

     

     

    

2. The Dash cam will reboot to apply the new settings.

   

    

LTE Module Installation

3. Connect the USB (Micro 5-Pin) end to the LTE Module and the USB-C end to the dash cam.

4. Once the LTE module and the dash cam are successfully connected, the STATUS LED with turn to GREEN light.

Register the Dash Cam

5. Download and Install the THINKWARE CONNECTED app

- Search THINKWARE CONNECTED app in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store
- or SCAN the QR Code in the LTE Module manual included in the box

6. Open the Thinkware Connected App, then Create a New Account

7. Log in with your account and enter your mobile phone for Emergency Notifications

8. Tap "Register dash cam" then select the LTE type tab.

9. Tap BARCODE icon and scan the barcode on the LTE Module using your smartphone camera.

*If scanning the Barcode fails, manually enter the ICCID number.

10. Tap "Request Certification" button 

and when you hear a voice prompt from the dash cam, press the REC button from the dash cam once.

11. Once registration is successful, the dash cam will appear as requested in the CONNECTED App.

LTE Module Installation

    12. Choose an installation location for the LTE Module: near the dash cam on the upper from Windshield or the inside the Glove box. 

• If the vehicle is frequently parked outdoors, install the LTE Module in the glove box.
• Install the product in a location away from direct sunlight.

Use 50cm short cable if installing near the front Windshield, or the 3m long cable if installing inside the Glove Box.

13. Remove the protective film from the adhesive pad, press the LTE Module firmly onto the designated installation spot and neatly organize the cable so its not visible.

You have successfully installed the LTE module and register your Thinkware ARC 900!
